The company started operating in Romania in 2000 as a software development factory. In the following years, the Romanian business shifted focus from software development to Call Center Outsourcing and BPO.

At the end of 2008, XL World expanded its presence in Eastern Europe and in 2009 it opened its first center in Shkoder, Albania.

The group enjoyed a strong growth throughout the following years and now employs 1.400 professionals in Romania and Albania.
